It's surprising how many people expect fine dining around here, because honestly, I haven't seen much better nearby. The family running the place is really nice and working hard to breathe new life into an old spot that definitely needs some upgrades. If you take it for what it is-a lake and beach bar with tasty food and drinks-it's pretty awesome, though I think the menu could be simplified to focus more on the vibe and what they do best.

It's surprising how many people expect upscale dining options in such a rural setting, but honestly, I haven't come across many places better in this area. The family running the establishment is genuinely kind and working hard to breathe new life into an old venue in need of renovations. If you view it as a casual lakefront bar and grill with its own beach, it's a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy good sandwiches, appetizers, steaks, bar pizza, and drinks.
