The clam chowder was incredibly rich and flavorful, packed with clams and just the right amount of celery, served piping hot to perfection. The vibrant atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious variety on the menu make it a must-visit after a day of exploring the beautiful Oregon coast.

WE LOVE FIREHOUSE! The clam chowder is MY MOST FAVORITE, up and down Oregon's coast and have tried them all throughout the years!! I ALWAYS look forward to going to Florance because I know we will stop there. ...every time!

My husband and I go out to eat once in awhile we greatly enjoy the firehouse. the people are friendly the food is great. You don't have to dress fancy to eat and you can understand the menu without taking a foreign language class to place your order. Like the old saying keep it simply stupid.. Hats tom the firehouse restaurant and staff.

My husband and I have had so-so food here. Garlic fries are soggy, had to send back undercooked burgers, and the service is notoriously slow. I went on my own Sunday evening because my husband is out of town. Even though there were 2 tables for 2 right in front I was told I had to sit at the bar because I was a party of one. There was one stool left at the bar right in the middle and the people on either side of it were enagaged in conversation. Obviously not a dining situation anyone would want to experience, so I left. I'm certainly finished with the Firehouse. We keep a list of recommended and not recommended restaurants at our condo in Florence because many people use our condo and we hope to steer them toward good dining experiences. The Firehouse is firmly on the not recommended list. I may have been one person that evening, but the person who told me I could only sit at the bar should be bright enough to know that in a tourist town, making people feel unwelcome has far reaching consequences/
