10/07/2012 - Hoku
Okay - the interior is funky - but cool. Try sitting by the table with the outside water feature - in the back, last table on the right hand side, it's relaxing. The Chicken Mole was delicious - the corn tortillas fresh. The Chicken enchilada with green sauce had excellent flavor. The flavor's were authentic and intriguing, The margarita's - though a bit small were tasty - try the Hornitos based one - cuervo gold is not 100% agave tequila. We were there when 2 large parties were there - try to avoid that. Don't expect much from the service - you need to catch their eye for something extra. Overall - the dishes were not very large - but filling. Certainly not like Chapala Mexican on 29th which we love. If you want to try something new in South American cuisine - do try La Oficina.
