i was saddened to read the negative comments , since I have been a happy customer for almost a quarter of a century. Food is great, portions generous and I have never had any of the problems experienced by other reviewers. Service has been prompt and efficient, pleasant servers. Prices reasonable. Seating comfortable, and best of all, food is delicious ! I will keep on going, hopefully, for another quarter century !
11/14/2014 - Appalling Service - Food Isn't Worth It
We've been here before with good service, but tonight, we waited a full hour for a carry-out order that was supposed to take "15-20 minutes". We received no apology; no explanation. Nothing.
When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told, "There she is," and the cashier walked away. The manager looked at me and also walked away.
Good-tasting food can only take you so far. When you treat your customers like they don't matter, you are the one who loses out.
And we weren't the only ones! A gentleman had ordered 15 minutes before us, and he got his food when we did - that's one hour and fifteen minutes for his food.
We both saw six (SIX!!!) people come in and go in between, including two who ordered and waited.
Ocean Sky - if you can't deliver on a carry-out order in 20 minutes, don't tell people you can.
And if a customer is treated badly, make them happy before they leave, or they will never return.
I even calmed down when I got home and FINALLY ate, I tried to call back in and talk to the manager. I asked for one, and was promptly hung up on. Apparently, they have no time for upset customers. Scary, huh?
And in today's world of online ratings, immediate reviews on messaging sites, etc, is it really worth not offering an apology or a discount or anything? Really?
It's really too bad - we liked you.

Prices are high and the service is so-so but there are some EXCELLENT items on the menu. Especially Schezuan Fish and Honey Walnut Shrimp!

I used to go here often as my favorite dish was the chicken chow mein. Yet, Almost everytime I go, The servers are always rude and unattentive. The servers seem to better serve who ever they think will leave them a good tip. Many occasions I had to wait for my food because it was given to "rich" looking people who came in 20 minutes after I ordered. The last straw was when I paid with a debit card a bill for $36 and my bank statement said I paid $42. They had the audacity to charge themselves a tip after I signed.
