I visited on a weekday afternoon to sample their chitterlings for a takeout lunch with a small group. Chitterlings, or "chitlins," are a traditional Southern dish made from hog intestines that is quite popular in rural areas. The establishment had a humble exterior, resembling more of a convenience store at first glance. The chitterlings were seasoned with cracked red pepper and served alongside boiled cabbage, providing a chewy texture with a spicy flavor. Although not particularly tender, the portion size was generous for a small order. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, and I look forward to returning to try their fish fry and crab boils on the weekends.
