Absolutely terrible experience. My group, myself included, were personally insulted by the owner twice who then proceeded to infer that we were the ones at fault. At first one of my group ordered a meal which they didn't enjoy, once brought to the owner's attention he asked us "Have you ever had lamb before?" as if we were the ones at fault. At the point where it didn't taste good the question if he had eaten lamb before is irrelevant, the point is that it was not pleasing to him.

The second time he insulted us was when the check came and there was an 18% gratuity added on even though THE INFORMATION WAS NOT ON THE MENU. He asked us, "Have you ever eaten at a restaurant before?" with the tone that sounded like we were just poor dumb college students. My problem with this was 1) The waitress was mediocre and didn't deserve it, 2) This was the second time I felt insulted by him, 3) He openly admitted that the waitress had the ability to put it on and chose too, then he admitted that he had the power to turn it off and didn't want to.

After signing my receipt we left, only to have him chase me out of the restaurant and accuse me of not leaving the signed copy, which I did. After feeling insulted by this guy I didn't feel as if I owed him any favors so when he TOLD (NOT ASKED) me to sign another copy I politely refused. He then called the police on me and accused me of trying to "steal" from him. My problem with this is that 1) I had already signed the copy and left it which means that the food was already PAID FOR, 2) He lost the receipt and immediately forced me to try to sign another copy, then HE CALLED THE POLICE ON ME.

The policeman arrived and after explaining my side of the story and then talking with him it was brought up that the 18% GRATUITY WAS NOT WRITTEN IN THE MENU. When the policeman inquired about this the owner replied that "Well, it's our store policy." To which the police man then sided with me and said that he couldn't charge me for something that wasn't written down.

In conclusion;
1) He insulted me twice
2) He chased after me for his mistake
3) He called the police on me
4) THE OWNER TRIED TO ENFORCE RULES ON ME THAT HE SAID EXISTED EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDN'T.
5) At the end he tried to guilt trip me into giving more tip because he had lost that edge on me and didn't want to admit that he was wrong.
6) Because of the actions of the OWNER we are NEVER going back there again, due to the insult, the humiliation, and the way he handled the situation even after he had lost.
