Worst service ever!!! Owners granddaughter is very rude and entitled. So first time eating there and things weren't all that. Refried beans tasted like pure salt. Maybe it was done on purpose. Idk. Long story short just expressed some things weren't liked and waitress I guess got upset. Hello you asked!! She went back to the kitchen and obviously said we complained and made it out like we were asking for a discount or to speak to manager. Which we never did either of. But when she said she was getting the manager we waited and Noone ever came then we noticed everyone with attitudes so when we PAID and said something to them about the way they were acting. The little girl in the back followed us out the door telling us to get the fu**out and don't come back. Then waitress followed us to parking lot apologizing told us to wait on owner and she never came. Bad bad business.

Taco House has been a staple in my life since i was old enough to drive many many moons ago... Love the tacos and burritos especially..If you haven't been here make plans to go!!

I’ve been eating at the Taco House since the 70s and it’s still my favorite Mexican restaurant. I now live in Atlanta, Georgia and I can’t find Mexican food anywhere in the area with the unique flavors of the Taco House. The beef nachos and dressed burritos will always be my favorites!

Tonight I ate at the Taco House for the first time in 28 years or so. What a shame that I'd forgotten about this place. There was only one waitress when we got there, so it took about an hour to get our food. But when we got it, it was great, with great portions too. We could have got out under $20 including tip ordering near the top of the menu if we hadn't got appetizers. I am hoping the wait was just a fluke. I bet it is as it's been in business since 1968.
Layla felt it was as close to authentic as she has had since she has been in FL, feeling maybe one generation removed, or adapted to local palettes. I don't know about that, but it was great food, nice portions, at a good price, and the best of the 7 or so Mexican restaurants I've tried in the Pensacola / Fort Walton Beach area in the last few years.
