Inspection findings
Critical. Observed employee engage in food preparation, handle clean equipment or utensils, or touch unwrapped single-service items, without washing hands. Various employees not washing hands before putting on new gloves. Corrected On Site. Observed cutting board grooved/pitted and no longer cleanable-kitchen and front customer area. Repeat Violation. Critical. Equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils not sanitized-cook wiping knives with wiping cloths. Corrected On Site. Wet wiping cloth not stored in sanitizing solution between uses-cloths on cutting board at cookline. Observed attached equipment soiled with accumulated dust-ac vent over bagel making area. Repeat Violation. Lights missing the proper shield, sleeve coatings or covers-several light shields in kitchen cracked and chipped. Critical. Insecticide/rodenticide use not in compliance with regulations. Blue can of raid in storage area Repeat Violation. Critical. Observed extension cord in use for non-temporary period. For reporting purposes only. Orange cord from outside back door to mid kitchen. Corrected On Site. Critical. No currently certified food service manager on duty with four or more employees engaged in food preparation. Operator Joe D said he was 3 doors down at Publix. Critical. No proof of required employee training provided. All public food service establishments must provide the division with proof of employee training upon request, including, but not limited to, at the time of any division inspection of the establishment.
