Went to FlatTop for lunch after reading about the opening..always enjoy diner food after being born & raised in Jersey..the diner state...they had a limited menu for lunch as their was mechanical problems with deep fryers..I ordered the lobster & shrimp salad with raspberry vinegarette dressing..very disappointing..the seadfood had absolutely no taste..no seasoning.nothing..they had so many cooks behind the counter that they were running into each other..if they want to check the bread, making sure it isn't moldy, they should do it in the kitchen, not out in the eating area. the acoustics were terrible, the more people that came in the louder it got..it was just echoing..the only thing that made this a diner was the counter seating..Would I return, no..
