Heck of a lot better than Sonny's! I am a native Floridian! Grew up in the same town as Sonny's founder. I don't dislike Sonny's, but Southern Pig and Cattle Co. has better flavors. My tastebuds grew up on Bar-B-Que!

good food. However if you have a party of over four plan to sit and let other people go before you. We had seven in our party and waited for twenty minutes and several other parties got seated before us. We then ordered take out and a full rack of ribs turned out to be 1/2 or less. I have eaten there several time and will never go back again. I hope the management gets this because this was bad service and other places in Ocala that are just as good and will bet my money
