We had a restraunt.com gift certificate and according to r.com website they take the gift certificate. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and then found out they don't accept the card. The manager was not there and the waitress told me he wanted to talk to talk to me and I asked not to talk to him (because I could hear how badly he was talking to her). He insisted on talking to me and then proceeded to argue with me and was very nasty with me. I didn't want to argue with the man, I just wanted out of there but he kept pushing the issue. I then asked for a discount on the wine and he became even nastier. It was at that point I told him I would give him very bad reviews. His own staff was very embarrassed by how he talked to me on the phone! They could hear him yelling at me and it was not on speaker phone!He responded to another one of my reviews saying I was irate. I was not irate, I was upset that he continually berated me and because of the way he handled the situation! Had he been willing to hear from me how i was told to use the card or If he had been nice to me on the phone none of this would have happened! I was prepared to leave quietly without talking to him and try to recover what was left of our wedding anniversary but he pushed the issue! He is a bully! I will never go back there! Do me a favor and don't support this bully!
