My family and I went to the Cortez location of First Watch and just walking in it was so chaotic. We got our name down in the waiting list and we waited for about 30-40 minutes until we got sat down. Our server Denise came over to us in such a fast time and she brought 2 pots of cofffee!!!! She offered us Project Sunset coffee and my dad had asked what she was talking about and she went on to explain the story behind why they call it that and my dad and I thought it was a beautiful story and a very great cause and partnership they have. She was amazing with the kids and always had a smile on her face, even when trying to get my family of 12’s complicated and hungry orders. She also talked about their new juice, which everyone at the table loved!! We hope they keep this juice forever. My sisters and I ordered the pumpkin pancake breakfast and the brisket hash and had 4 cinnamon rolls at the table and everything was absolutely delicious! Our server always checked on us and not in an annoying attentive way, just enough and she also informed it might be a little with our food but offered refills to keep us occupied while waiting. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh and so well priced compared to other places we’ve been to. We told her we loved the food and her amazing service. She told us that she wasn’t actually from that Cortez location but from the Lockwood Ridge location on State Road 70 and we live so much closer to there which was a win for us! She also was very calm and was so respectful and nice to her other tables which we saw from where we were and she was also dealing with a big family across us to and it seemed as if they were enjoying their experience also. It was definitely packed in the restaurant, but the decor and everything in there was clean, even the bathrooms! We will definitely come back to the Cortez location and most definitely the location were Denise is from! Absolutely a great experience for my family and I(:!
