At Gio’s last night…. Service and food great as usual…. This is the only place that has EVER CHARGED for Extra Sauce on a Pizza. Over 45 years of ordering pizza weekly from New York - California and Florida to Canada. Gio’s CHARGED $3.00 extra… When I questioned the owner…. He said it’s a topping…Really???? I didn’t even stoop so low and ask”show me on your menu under pizza toppings…. Kudos to all the restaurants in Central Florida that NEVER CHARGE…

What a not so great feeling for a customer who has Christmas Eve Dinner Catered for 20+ people….. What’s next Gio???? I guess I’ll be charged for having my pizza in the oven longer since I prefer it cooked on the well side.. Way to take extra tips from your staff.

Went for lunch ordered the caprese sandwich the prosciutto was cut so thick and had so much fat I think the sole of my shoe would have tasted better it was literally inedible when I mentioned it to the wait staff and to the person at the register when I paid my bill they said they were sorry that I wasn't happy I have just called the restaurant and I'm waiting for a call back from the manager I never do this but don't waste your hard-earned money it was disgusting you couldn't even chew it and swallow it shame on them

Amazing!!! I am a NYC girl who grew up with the best pizza and Gio's was an excellent find. If you are looking for the best pizza near the Villages in FLA don't miss this place. Thanks cousin Mark for finding this treasure for us!

We've eaten there many times. In my opinion, the best restaurant this side of Orlando. Plus a great value. Best pizza in the villages. By far. Excellent sandwiches. You would expect to pay three times what the entrees cost. Plus great deli items to go including desserts. It's our go to restaurant and the prices allow us to go a lot. Believe the other rave reviews!

Apparently the Veal and chicken cutlets were pre cooked and then deep fried before serving, making it over cooked difficult To eat. Very disappointed...

Love everything about Gio's - my favorite is the coconut cake! Staff is always friendly and helpful. We often go with friends. The pizza is fantastic! Really glad we have such a classy deli near us!

Gio himself is the real deal and has the best New York style food available in the area. Coming from Westchester in New York with the choices abundantly in the excellent range Gio is providing us a taste of what we have known.

The best pizza since I moved to Florida, from NYC. Not only is the food delicious, but the groceries are the real deal. Cans of scungilli, real hot cherry peppers..... the deli counter. The wait staff is also lovely.
