Crab cakes were amazing and I am from Maryland and very picky but the shrimp creole is was ok. It was served over pre-cooked rice that was so well done, it was mushy. Now, I like mushy over cooked rice. Rest of the tabled ordered the Mahi and the portion size was 4oz. We actually weighed one filet as it was taken carryout. The fish dip app was also good but everything was way over priced! 1 crab cake was $20 and 4oz of fish wad $30.

I love Duncan’s on the Gulf so much, always friendly servers, other staff and owners. Best food in Cedar Key. My favorite place of all. I will go back every chance I get, love their bar and also good music.
