This is a shout out to Mike and Jules for such excellent service! Walk-on's Sports Bistreaux-Lakeland is the best place to eat in Lakeland, Florida! We just moved here 6 weeks ago and have eaten here at least twice weekly since we arrived! The food is outstanding! We get the Louisiana Combo, which is delicious, and you get the best fried catfish, shrimp, waffle fries and hush puppies! And nothing is greasy! Perfectly prepared and a delight to eat! We share this platter and add a bowl of red beans and rice (out of this world)! It is more than enough for two people. That, and some fantastic iced tea to wash it all down! And the finale....some beignets that make you feel like you truly are in New Orleans! Mike is at the bar but moves around to make sure everyone has what they need and are enjoying their experience there. And Jules....she doesn't miss a detail! Great and friendly service! We will be back to experience their Happy Hour from 3-6pm. Great place! Great food! Great prices! Great service!
