We had dinner at The White Marlin on July 13,2023. Five adults and two children. One adult in our party found their food good, this was prime rib. The meals were cool to cold, with the exception of the appetizers which were stuffed mushrooms. The bartender could not make a simple salty dog or screwdriver. The total for our food with tip was approximately $800.00.
The wine was good, the view is beautiful. I will not be going back.

I ate here months ago when the restaurant first opened. I gave a one-star scathing review (which was deserved). I just had my second visit with restaurant enjoying new management and a revamped menu with better pricing. The food was excellent. I could cut my filet with a butter knife. Service was very good. I would go back now that early problems have been ironed out but would make a few comments: 1) The restaurant is still very noisy, hard surfaces with people all around you talking loudly in order to be heard - this is not a place for a pleasant, laid-back conversation. While the food was great, I wanted to eat and leave. Perhaps this is the intent of management to turn tables over quickly but I wanted to "visit" with my table-mates. 2) I wanted dessert. The server told what was left and the coconut cake sounded perfect. I ordered it with a cup of coffee to finish my dining experience on a wonderful note and was told that they don't serve coffee . . . they weren't out of coffee, they just didn't serve it. I was amazed. I have NEVER eaten in a good restaurant where you couldn't cap off a good meal with coffee and dessert. Of course I had to cancel the cake since I didn't want it without coffee. MANAGEMENT - ADD COFFEE TO THE MENU! Fancy lattes and cappuccinos are not needed but a good cup of coffee is.
