I'VE BEEN GOING TO THIS DINER EVER SINCE I MOVED TO FLORIDA (MELBOURNE). I ENJOY THE FANTASTIC BREAKFASTS AND LUNCHES. THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE AND THE FOOD VERY TASTY. ALEX IS DOING A MARVELOUS JOB AS THE NEW OWNER AND BEING SHORT-HANDED. aND LET ME MENTION JEN. SHE IS THE FRIENDLIEST ,GREGARIOUS GIRL I'VE EVER MET. SHE MAKES EVERYONE FEEL AT HOME. AND GREETS, SEATS AND PRESENTS MENUS, UNLESS YOU ALREADY KNOW YOUR FAVORITE AND SHE SEEMS TO REMEMBER, AND ALWAYS ASKS FIRST. I LOVE FREEDOM DINER AND WILL FREQUENT IT FOR A LONG TIME TO COME. They need a cook who can cook more than 1 order at a time. I ordered pancakes my friend ordered mashed potatoes. 45 minutes later we still had no food so we left. We can go to a packed restaurant and wait for a table eat and still leave in 25 min. I will never return. Also the waitress asked for our order without giving us menus!
