Best steaks I have eaten in Treasure Coast. Superb meat. Delicious sides. Have eaten there four times and excellent every time. If you read the cranky reviews on here you'll notice that it's something like a large party arriving in stages, which of course is not going to go over well in a small, family run business. Or complaining that a well done steak is dry (that's the definition of well done meat). The place is very popular for good reason so be realistic and expect to wait awhile on a weekend or during the season. If you want fast steaks, there's an Outback up the road. If you want a quality meal, chill out and just enjoy Kodi's.

We were a party of 7 and the second table to be seated. It took us 1 hour and 40 minutes to get our meal. We asked our waitress about our food and her comment to us was "I don't cook the food, I just serve it". While she was taking our drink order, the person next to her got a call and went outside to take the call. As she went around the table she came to his chair and asked what he wanted to drink. We told her she was not her right now and she could just fill our drinks. Herr comment to us was "You should not have been seated if your whole party was not here". That is how the night started. When our food arrived most of the steaks were over cooked, but at this point we just wanted to eat and leave. Of the 7 at the table 5 of us had never been there before. Never got a water refill with 5 empty glasses. The hostess and bus boy/runner were excellent. I would not have written this review except for the fact one of our party spoke to the manager and after he spoke to the waitress the next day, she lied and said that one man in the party stood up and made a fuss about the meal. This never happened. I grew up in the restaurant business and inspected restaurants. This one need to have an inspection, just based on the restrooms.

owner's wife/girlfriend was our waitress. Rushed our order, did not bring water per request with our drinks. Bought food out, never checked to see if was ok, needed another wine never stopped by. asked for desert, we said no. Attitude was unbelievable, asked if she was owner to busboy and said yes. Left no tip, a first for me in40 years. Food was ok, beef was dry but my fault for ordering well done. Not worth the hype.

We have eaten here twice and both times the meat was excellent if not superb. The prime rib was as good as it gets and done to order absolutely perfectly. The steak was very good but not as good as the prime rib. Sides were good and service on Friday night is slow . . . but where are we going anyway?

High hopes…disappointing reality
Do you enjoy waiting 45 minutes from time of order to time of receiving a basic meal…in a 2/3’s full restaurant? This is the place for you! Do you delight in having the wait-staff gather around one table listening to another patron’s stories, rather than occasionally checking to see if you need anything? Kodi’s is your spot! And the crowning jewel -- does it enhance your dining experience to have the owner yell at, insult and publically demean you as you leave, because you accidentally tipped over a plant he left in the parking lot...literally kept yelling insults at me as he walked across across the parking lot and back into the restaurant! (Everyone can have a bad day, but this was way over the top!). If so, then you’ll love it here!
Meat was good enough…sides dishes we tried were all sub-standard. A pity nothing else came close to matching the standards of the meat!
What a shame! This place is five minutes from our new home, and we had high hopes! Sadly, it’s not worth a second try.
