Opened in July 2012, The Breezeway Restaurant and Bar located in downtown Sanford, Florida is a multi-cuisine eatery which offers free street and parking lot parking with a moderate price range for specialties like seafood, steak, pasta, salads, appetizers, special entrees, catch of the day, drinks, desserts and more. Serving lunch, dinner, coffee and drinks with a full liquor bar, The Breezeway also offers live entertainment from local artists such as "Donnie Lee" , "Rick Graham" , "Dane Colbert" and many, many more. The Breezeway takes Reservations and walk-Ins are welcome. Excellent For Groups and good for kids, The Breezeway also has take out and offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

I love this restaurant. The Floridian 🍔 is great. Nice flavor. Definitely not bland. And I love the fried green tomatoes. And on a nostalgic note. This is the location that they filmed at the end of the movie my girl. This is where Dan akroyd sat . And lot of the restaurant still remains intact thank goodness. Come for the great food and drinks stay for the ambiance. You won't be let down. Keep up the great work. I will return again.

My wife and I recently ate lunch at this restaurant, 3/7/15. The setting is wonderful and the waitress was exceptional; however, the condition of the interior was deplorable. We sat at the front table to "people watch" and within moments noticed the smell similar to a men's bathroom. We tooled through that inconvenience; yet, when we were served our iced teas we noticed the glasses were not properly washed, evidenced by the figure prints and oily film on the sides of the glasses. We immediately choose to use the straws that were provided. Finally, what really killed my appetite was the blond hair I discovered in my Philly cheese sandwich. The only reason my wife and I endured the experience was due to expensive sandwiches we were eating, averaging $10 to $15 plus. Therefore, not letting our money go to waste, we ate and left, and of course, I can endure anything with my wife by my side.
