(Title) Worst dining experience in my entire life! All these 5 star reviews are pure BS! It's a tourist trap for sure.

I made a reservation 10 days in advance for my Birthday to be there right as they opened at 5PM. The place is much tinier than I had anticipated, even though others mentioned in reviews that it was small, but this was simply too close for any comfort whatsoever. Since it's so small, maybe 7-8 tables crammed inside tops, I noticed there were 2 reserved names on 2 tables but neither had my name. I told them my name, that I had a reservation and all 3 of them (watier and 2 waitresses, Warren, Melissa, & Meg) looked puzzled. A minute later they brought my named sign to a super small table without even apologizing. Not a good start or first impression at all. I was then shocked to see the prices on the menu (no wonder they don't advertise prices!) but thought okay well I hope it's worth it and remained hopeful that the experience would get better from there. The menu is misleading....the appetizer section clearly stated it was well proportioned to have enough to share. I ordered the seared tuna and was severely disappointed upon its arrival....much smaller than it appeared in all of the pictures of it and quite frankly it didn't taste any better than what you could get at a any other local bar. Not sure what they think is a good amount to share unless we're talking child sized portions. My guest ordered the Mahi dinner and said it wasn't anything super special in his opinion. Not one server came to ask how our food was or if we needed/wanted anything else. I literally sat there waiting to order more food because I was starving and no one came for over a half hour. They all seemed too preoccupied by constantly doting on the larger group of people that all appeared to be of the higher upper class status. One of them finally came over and asked if we'd like desert and I was shocked they'd even ask that knowing I barely ate anything so I ordered the lollipop lamb chops...opted for the appetizer portion because I didn't want what came with the dinner section. Once again I was disappointed because out of the 4 tiny chops, one of them was really fatty and the only thing that was "special" about it was the mint dipping sauce. My guest and I did separate checks, so after I finished the chops, I asked for the checks knowing that my bill was already $50 something and I was still super hungry and couldn't wait to get out of there so I could go eat somewhere else. Waiting for our change was also a slow task for them for some reason. They were so bad at paying attention to their patrons that they gave my guest all of his money back...lucky him but my Birthday was now a total flop thanks to this awful, poorly run place! Oh and I noticed my bill came to $53.50...my guest's bill also ended in 50 cents and guess what, neither of us got any quarters back (we both paid in cash). So, my final take on this place is this....to spend over $50 and still be hungry on my Birthday is unacceptable, the food was just okay but definitely not worth what they charge and the service was severely below average. To top it off, they put a Tripadvisor card asking for a 5 star review in with the bill. RED FLAG! During my entire experience I was already contemplating leaving bad reviews but was just going to let it be until I saw that. If you need to ask or prompt customers for a 5 star review, knowing how poorly the service was, then you deserve getting this review. For anyone reading, I wouldn't recommend any of you to waste your time or hard earned money in this place. Stay far away unless you enjoy being ripped off or have so much money that you just don't care.

We have been regular patrons and have always brought out of town guests here. Likely we have gone over a dozen times. We made a last minute reservation on a Thursday night. Friday afternoon we.politely called to cancel because one member of our party was not feeling well and had a fever. Fat Kahunas does a temperature check on all guests before seating. We explained and asked to reschedule. This is the first and only time we have ever canceled a reservation. We were given a reservation for the following week. The day before we were called and asked to reconfirm. that we were 100% on board and the count was correct. It was explained that they only had one large table.and wanted to make sure we were coming. We thought this was reasonable and.dutifully called every member of our party. We called back within minutes and.confirmed the party size and time. We then received a call back and were informed they would not honor the reservation. When we asked politely why we were angrily berated for having canceled. We explained again it was the first and only time we had ever cancelled and did so out of respect. We also explained we were loyal patrons and had hosted many large dinners there. We also politely inquired why we were asked to do the fire drill of calling our entire party if the intent was all along not to honor the reservation and use the opportunity to berate us and beat us up . Also why had they even given us the reservation in the first place if their policy is to black list customers who have the gall to cancel a reservation. I listened for another two minutes without being allowed a word how we were not allowed to make a reservation at this time because of our prior cancelation. The tone was rude, belligerent, aggressive. and dripping in arrogance. We will never be frequenting this establishment again after this tongue lashing. They don't seem to remember the dozens of times we had been there but remember the one time we cancelled. None of.their wait staff ever remembers us, even though we have had each of them numerous times. This arrogance is unbelievable in such a small town. A business has no excuse to berate and.ve disrespectful to their own customers, especially loyal repeat customers. They have forgotten that that customers allow them to exist. We are not beholden to them for their existence. Yes their food is good, but they are bar none also one of the most expensive restaurants in Brevard. If they are so brazen and arrogant to think they are so good that it gives them a right to be rude and disrespectful, they are wrong. We had recommended many friends this establishment, now we will tell everybody to frequent an establishment that appreciates your business... not one that thinks we should appreciate and.be.beholden to them for their existence. There are many other options for.fine.dining in Brevard.
