The food and service were both excellent at this cozy spot with karaoke. The eggplant parm was a standout dish, and I can't wait to return to try more items from the menu. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere was welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy some good food and drinks without breaking the bank.

Take out order: Ruined a great Grouper sandwich putting ranch dressing on it. Lady assured us we had tarter sauce (extra tarter sauce as ordered), Cole slaw was missing from the order as well. Not a container of tarter sauce in the bag. Not a happy camper.

The new atmosphere is very relaxed and modern. The staff is kind, in general. The bartender is far more interested in serving regulars than other customers. I was ignored in favor of old drunks because they show up regularly. The food isn't bad. I got a steak medium rare, which was done as I asked. It had grill marks, but the rest of the surface of the meat was grey. The chef should learn to salt and pepper the meat before cooking. Also, if those steaks aren't frozen, I'll never eat again. Not bad but definitely not great. The vegetable sides are way over salted. I had both green beans and collards, both tasted exclusively of salt. This is the first time I've ever left a tip below 20 %. Not a terrible place, but it needs work. I would have given this review to the server, but she was too busy flirting with the elderly regulars. If this place doesn't step up, they will alienate the younger generation and go out or business within five years.

They should not pretend Italian food is their specialty. I have ordered two basic Italian dinners (chix parm and ravioli). Both were so disgusting they had to be thrown away! Folks--save your money!
