A must stop when in north central Florida! This is a quaint and unique location, as an art gallery meets a wine and beer and tapas bar! We enjoy the live music and the ambiance is so relaxing. Owner Norm is very welcoming, he greets you with a warm smile and is known for his "free hugs". We have sampled a few of the delicious items on the menu, which is limited but each item made to order, the steamed clams are amazing! A good spot also if you want a snack at the end of the night, as many other spots for food are closed by 9p in downtown. It is a favorite hangout for the locals in Mount Dora!
This "destination of the senses" is tucked back in the corner of the beautiful 'sunset" building on 3rd and Baker St, With 2 patio areas to enjoy outdoor seating also, the back courtyard reminds me of Italy with its decor and large flowing fountain. Norm teaches painting classes a few times a week and hosts art shows for local artists! Be sure to ask for Norm's tour of the artwork in each room, if it is your first time!
