Dining at the sushi bar, I enjoyed a variety of sushi appetizers, nigiri, and hand rolls that were beautifully presented with generous portions and excellent flavor, accompanied by prompt service on a Saturday lunch; I appreciate the absence of hibachi here due to my dislike of the smell, and overall the food, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere consistently impress me whether for dine-in or takeout, with favorites like the avocado ball and hibachi dishes offering fresh vegetables and tender proteins, while the lunch specials provide good value and variety, though I find some sauces sweeter than expected and wish for more spacious seating, but the quality and freshness of the sushi and other Japanese cuisine keep me returning.

I have been going to Sakura at Colony Plaza in The Villages for years. Quality has been consistently good there. Sushi is great as well as everything else. Very good variety of dishes to choose from. The Best in The Villages
by far.

We love Sakura! Best sushi around! It is fresh, delicious, and they have an amazing selection. The other meals are fabulous too. Highly recommended!

Wow, we used to love this place, but it must have changed hands because it was terrible. It went from great to terrible! No more ginger salad dressing, now it is cheap French dressing. The soup is beef broth with a few sliced mushrooms, no noodles. The fried rice had carrots and beans in it, and mine had three cubes of a diced carrot and a half a bean. The steak was small (filet) and lobster even smaller. No dessert. All this for $30/dish. Not even worth $15. Waste if time and money now. We will not be back. We can not recommend it.
