During my pre-doctoral internship at the nearby federal prison, my fellow interns and I would occasionally escape for lunch at a hidden spot called "The Shady". The unassuming eatery offers simple yet satisfying meals with a focus on efficiency to accommodate our tight schedules. The friendly staff quickly became familiar with our preferences, making each visit a pleasant experience worth seeking out.
