I was at today's Easter Brunch at your location. The staff was very friendly and for the most part accommdating.
However, the food sucked big time.
I had ordered the duck with orange glaze. It was totally undercooked, raw in the center. The meat was about a quarter size medallion, surrounded by fat. The dressing of the salad was awful. The green beans were stringy and the snow peas were not prepared to doneness.
No butter for the dinner rolls and no salt or pepper on the table. The coffee was lukewarm.
Another words, this was the worst dining experience I ever had.
For the almost $ 40.00 in expediture, I got practically nothing worth of value.
I guess, I go home now and cook me a T-Bone Steak with with the trimmings, because I am still hungry.

As far as recommending your place for dining to my friends and other people I know, absolutely not!!!!!

Sincerely,
Monika Edwards
PS: Even mispelled my first name.

i had dinner at chef larrys last night with a friend and can say that it was the best dinner i have had at a restaurant it titusville in YEARS.
I had crab cakes, tomato soup, salad, and marsalla salmon and i enjoyed every bite.
my dinner guest had the flank steak and it was delicious as well.
TRY THE PLACE, MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND, WE all have different tastes,
I will return for dinner again !!!

If I could, I would give this place a 0 rating for the horrible, inedible food & the service. My husband and I dined here and we were appalled at how bad the food was. The crab cakes were so mushy that we both felt sick from eating them. The corn chowder had chicken livers in it and the Tomato soup was so sweet that I had to put salt in it. The salad was SO overdressed that neither of us could finish. Our entrées included the BBQ pork and chicken. The BBQ pork tasted as though it was prepackaged and warmed in a microwave, the chicken was so fatty due to it being thigh meat and not pan seared as advertised, it was battered and lightly fried. After taking one bite, we advised the waiter of our dissatisfaction, and he came back and told us there was nothing he could do. We then politely asked for a manager or to speak to the chef himself, and when he came out, he had a scowl on his face and denied the food being bad and that we HAD to pay because he can't waste food. My husband, who is a chef in Atlanta, asked if he wanted to hear our criticism about his cooking, and he said he didn't care what we had to say and walked away. We didn't eat but one bite of our dinner and felt so sick after leaving that place. It was the worst dining experience that we've ever had....

Chef Larry’s Café Titusville, Fl. – The draw was a “Chef” (and I use that term loosely) serving appetizer, soup, salad and entrée for $14.00. We were a party of (4). We each ordered one of the (4) entrees of the evening. Two in our party ordered the crab cake with roulade sauce.
The crab cake wash mushy inside, was not crispy on the outside, flavor was mediocre. Next, came roasted garlic tomato soup - too sweet and Creole chicken corn chowder-cream corn, chicken livers and whatever – nasty. The house mixed greens was from a bagged Spring Mix, like you get at any grocery store with a very very tart fruit vinaigrette. The entrees: all served with sides of a few zucchini (mushy) and greens beans and mashed potatoes with skins. I have no way to prove it, but I am willing to bet these items were left over from the night before.
Grilled rib eye with potato onion crust – some of the mashed potatoes with onions smeared on top of tough steak, there was no “crusted”. Rum BBQ pulled pork – large mound of pulled pork with nasty sauce. Grilled salmon with cilantro apple butter – sauce was greasy and all over everything, flavor really bland. Pan seared chicken with a caramelized pear glaze- chicken thighs coated and fried and made soggy by the sauce-not a caramelized glaze poured on top.
The food in general was not appetizing in appearance, flavors were bland, sauces were greasy and sides were left over. The meal was inedible and we complained to the waiter and asked to see the chef or his wife who was present. The waiter came back to say there was nothing he could do. The owners and remainder of the staff hid in back and we demanded to see the “Chef”. The “Chef” came out in a soiled chef jacket, hands folding across his chest and asked what the problem was. My son started to explain our concerns with the meal and he was cut off by Chef saying ”there was nothing wrong with food, he served it yesterday and no one complained, we only paid $10 - (plus $4 for appetizer and $2 a drink – refills on cokes $2), we were gonna pay for our meal whether we liked it or not, cause he couldn’t afford to waste food.” My son asked whether he even wanted to hear our complaints and he said “no”. We paid our bill and left the waiter $10 tip cause, not his fault. Bad food, worse attitude, unprofessional. A bad cook is not a bad Chef, just a bad cook! We did not eat our entrees. I had to track down someone to pay, they were all hiding in the back. As we left, noticed two employees that kept peeking around corner of back of building. As I left they wrote down my tag number. What’s up with that? Afraid I would walk out without paying? Got more class than you do! Better to lose a few bucks than to lose a customer and the 5 friends they will tell.
