Great food, cool place but the prices are comical. $16 for chicken strips?! They've raised their prices at least 3 times since opening. Good luck with that

Three strikes and you are out. Tried after just opened on 200 in Ocala. Was seated at a table in the corner. Wife and I both had to sit with backs against the wall. No way to pull out a chair if people at next table. Way too close. We both ordered chicken breast, blackened and grilled. Both VERY DRY served on a small bed of rice on a large plate. Small portions and had to drown in honey mustard sauce to eat. Strike one. Went back a month or so latter for fajitas night BOGO. Have been very happy at Cody's in Crystal River. Always pleased. They are two different restaurants. Food not portioned or priced the same as Crystal River, drinks too. Fajitas came out as steak chunks not strips as 90% of restaurants serve. Tasted OK but portions was much smaller. Strike two. Went there today as we are closer to Ocala (5 miles) and wre in the area shopping. Had the prime rib which was good with garlic mashed. At Crystal River you get two scoops/cups of mashed. One at Ocala. We had gift cards purchased at the Crystal River store at Christmas time when they give bonus cards. Tried to use at Ocala manager said no??? To both bonus card and standard gift card. After closer look bonus card did say Crystal River only, but the standard gift card said ALL LOCATIONS on back. STRIKE THREE WE ARE DONE WITH OCALA CODYS.
Closing we will drive the extra 20 miles for better portions, cheaper prices, cheaper drinks and much better atmosphere ...
This place has growing pains, over priced, and hasn't figured it out yet. Not for us...

Disappointed….Came to the table with no silverware. pink Lemonade tasted like water….
Food was good. Just not organized very well
I guess I’ll stick to Crystal River Codys

Bar tender ignored us for 10-15 minutes.
Then made the worst old fashioned I have ever had..

Slow staff...bar understaffed..the two for one drinks are great but service no . Uninformed staff . Management is just glorified waiters.
