01/15/2020 - Sue & Jim O'Connor, Liverpool & Wexford
Hello everyone, Sue and Jim here, posting our review. As you know, we look forward to visiting Devenney's Irish Pub each year when we stay at Highgrove. Over the years, we've always found the staff very friendly and welcoming and they give great service. All meals we've had there have been excellent, including their famous 2-4-1 Fish & Chips deal every Friday, which people queue around the block for. Don't miss it! They do a good pint of Guinness, too. Most of all, we love Sundays when Dubliner Johnny Snaggs (ex- Riverdance musician) entertains on his guitar and bodhran and sings millions of Irish songs. Everyone joins in and there's a great atmosphere. We hope to see Johnny Apple and everyone again in March 2020 when we next visit and this year we'll be there for the BIG DAY - St. Patrick's - on 17th March. Slainte!
