12/05/2015 - Joey
I was pissed beyond belief when we left there tonight, and now I'm more pissed that I had to issue these horrible people ONE STAR, just to be able to write this review! We ordered a Bruchetta appetizer, which finally came when the pizza came. The only reason we even ordered the Bruchetta was because they were out of soup at 6:00 on a Saturday night. The pizza we ordered was an 18 inch, half pepperoni and half veggie no cheese.
The waitress said when she apologized for bringing the appetizer at the same time as the pizza, "At least they got the pizza right!" We really, really tried to like the pizza but it was absolutely tasteless and soaking wet. Even the pepperoni side was soaked beyond belief. It was like eating a soaked sponge. My son ate his pepperoni slices because he's 8 and he could care less. He would eat a shoe with pepperoni on it.
I finally got the server's attention and told how we felt about the pizza, She exclaimed "why didn't you tell me about it?" I said we are now. She took the pizza back to the kitchen and asked the manager to come talk to me, which took forever. he finally came over and I spoke my concerns very quietly, so nobody else would hear. I did not want them to look bad,
He was very apologetic and said he would discount the bill. The bill came and he only took off the $6.00 for the Bruchetta. I asked to speak to him again which to forever again, he finally came over and said he was not willing to do anything more, I asked him if he thought it was fair that I pay $32.00 for a pizza my wife and I could not even eat. He said sorry I'm not doing anything more. I said "your waitress took away the pizza we didn't like and we still have to pay $32.00 We weren't even able to take the crap pizza that we didn't eat home to throw away ourselves! I felt so ripped off, I felt like calling the police. Instead, I threw the $32 on the table and walked out. I have never given a restaurant a bad review. But... nobody in the place cared at all. I've owned many restaurants and if one of my customer's were ever unhappy which was an absolute rarity, I would tell them the the entire ticket would be complimentary, and I would beg them for another chance next time. I guess that's the difference when someone cares and someone doesn't! CORRECTION ZERO STARS!
