I have eaten at this place many times and the food here is just awesome. First thing you need to know is the food is slightly different each time. Sure this is because Momma makes everything from scratch with no recipe, so depending on the day and whats on hand it will be different. This is a small business not a fancy restaurant chain, so don't expect it to be professional. This is a hole in the wall down home cooking type of place. Dorthy (Momma) has bent over backwards to please her customers, but as I know Momma, she also will not take any flak from rude people.

My husband and I have lived in Milton for almost two years and have been to Momma's Place several times for their good breakfast items. However, this morning we had a terrible experience and will never return. We had to repeat our order to the waitress three times. Our beignets didn't arrive until after our breakfast was served. When my husband was over half-way completed with his breakfast, the cook/owner came over to the table and slammed down the potatoes that came with the meal and raised her voice saying "here's your potatoes and don't you ever talk to my waitress like that again". At first I thought she was trying to be funny until I notice her red face and bulging carotids. Apparently the waitress told her that my husband said "where in the hell are my potatoes". My husband said nothing of the sort. To make a long story short, we were thrown out of the restaurant and believe me, we will never return again. I've never been so embarrassed and humiliated. Totally unprofessional. Totally rude. I'm guessing that since we had to repeat our order to the waitress 3 times, she must have a hearing problem. My husband was not at all rude to her. If you go to Momma's, beware of irate staff.
