My wife and I have lived in Middleburg for about thirty years. We have been going to the local Cedar River, almost weekly, since it opened. The last time we were in there will be our last time ever. The service is horrible. We waited for quite some time for our appetizer then had to ask for plates and napkins. I don't know how many times we had to ask the server for silverware which we sent back because it was dirty. When she brought our food, our order was wrong, but we took it rather than go through another extended wait.The prices have gone up drastically for smaller portions. As near as we can tell there are no longer any of the qualities in this establishment that made us love it so much in the past.

Watch your credit card statements. Noticed 20% was added to my bill when I checked my credit card statement. Only thing I can figure is cashier decided to add her a tip even though it was a takeout. 20% is a pretty good tip just for ringing me up.
