Great service from Rose. She knows what we want even before we sit down. She is so pleasant and always tending to the customers. VERY nice lady and top notch waitress 🍗🍤🍜🍞🍛🍮🍰

she works VERY hard..all of the time..I go here..alone..and don't mind being alone in this restaurant..
Have used the take-out so often..and now..during this Coronavirus mess..I continue to do take-out
almost on a daily basis..and all the food..very good! Nice and clean Environment..in and out..

12 people for Sunday lunch 2/1/20...... my Ruben was served charred with a few scrappy overcooked French fries...two were served chicken tenders that had to be cut with a knife...one chicken pot pie with a crust that was overcooked and hard. The tabletop was sticky and dirty. Quite a disappointment.

We eat here often because the food is dependably good and the service is usually very good. Love the southern style dishes & that there is something for everyone on the menu.

Fried chicken good but portions very small. Carry out service lousy. Ordered a breast and 2 wings, got to picnic and had a thigh, a leg and one wing. How hard is it to take down a simple order and give the customer what they pay for? Check your order before you leave the store

It is hard to do business or support a restaurant where the management & staff project no concern about customer service. On Friday, November 9th, 2018 we placed 2 orders to go for fried chicken, greens & yams. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait but it was 40 minutes. One order was correct & the 2nd order had cubed okra (which I can't eat) and something I couldn't recognize. When we got home & realized one order was wrong, I called the restaurant & told them the problem & that they should immediately check the other To Go orders to avoid other problems & disappointments. The polite female employee thanked me for my call and offered to replace my meal, saying she would note it on this list/or book that they keep & I can come back at anytime for the replacement meal. I stated that I could return Sunday afternoon. I called Sunday to say I was coming back & this new person said to bring my receipt which I agreed to do. Upon arrival the employee refused to honor the replacement meal & I eventually asked to speak to the manager. My husband & I waited too long only to be told that they called the manager who said the Friday night employee should not have offered a meal replacement & she would talk with her staff. We stressed that we never asked for the meal but since it was offered, we accepted. Our attempt to correct their mistake was met with rudeness & lack of concern for the customer's time and inconvenience.

I work in the area once a week. I had noticed parking lot was normally full. So decided to get take out. What a disappointing experience!! I ordered rib dinner with fries & steamed broccoli. Ribs were tough and the sauce wasn't bbq it tasted like tomatoes. Ordered blt club for my 16 year old son ( that likes to eat, almost never anything left) looked good but, he just ate half. I got philly cheese steak sub, looked good but greasey.
Then the fries on all the orders- left the most disgusting taste in my mouth. You should never mix other foods in your fry oil. It either wasn't hot enough or old oil. They were layers thick with oil. We are all native Floridians and that is not southern cooking....., I would normally not say anything but, almost $40 and can't get this gross taste from my mouth.

Took 45min to get food ask for steak rare got burnt steak burnt onion and pepper waited for waitress to return told her she inform manger or owner will not change or replace but my soda will be free the meal cost 13.95 so if your meal wrong don't. expect to get it fix and a free soda in place of the Right meal that's a joke

My husband and I are local residents and decided to try the Chicken Pantry for the first time. I ordered fried chicken, mashed potatoes, fried squash. He ordered fried shrimp, steamed broccoli and corn. The food looked good on the plate. The first bite of chicken shocked me with SALT, TOO MUCH Salt. The mashed potatoes & squash were full of salt. My husband had to drink two glasses of water to try to get rid of the SALT on the shrimp. We told the waitress. No response. I wrote a note to the manager, who wouldn't take the time to talk with me. She did NOT read the note, crumpled it up and threw it in the trash. Needless to say we WILL NOT visit this the Chicken SALT Palace again.
