The food at Ethel & Fred's is just what you need when you're craving some good old-fashioned comfort. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is cozy - it's like being at a home away from home.

Complete waste of time and money!!This was my second visit here and it was worse than the first time!The health code violations are still there and include:
1.Dishes are wiped off in bustubs of filthy,cold water and run through an old,outdated machine with no hot water or sanitizer
2.Food that spoils quickly in a hot kitchen,(eggs,meat,bread),is left out uncovered for long period of time
3.The bathrooms are never cleaned properly and have filthy sinks,toilets,urinal,walls,and floors
4.There were flies and roaches in the dining room and kitchen and thats because the back door is opened frequently for smoke breaks which not only lets in pests,but second-hand smoke which is extremly dangerous for children and seniors
The owners only seem to care about money because when they arent arguing with the staff,they have to constantly apologize for the slow service and poor quality of what they pass off as "food".The servers spend more time standing around or complaining and neglect the ding room which had dirty tables and dishes for over an hour which not only attracts flies but promotes the growth of bacteria in the builing.The "food" itself was either cold,re-heated,or smelled and tasted like it was going bad because I got sick after eating there eve though I was told the food was fresh.My recommendation is to stay away from this place until someone else takes it over who knows how to run a restauarant and keeps it clean with good food.

Great Home cooked meal. Roast Beef and Turkey are baked on the premises. Great Steaks and a large selection of seafood. Their french Dip is to die for. Open face turkey is another favorite. Burger platter is a great deal at $3.99. Great service and great food.
