Le Pavilion was a standard for a special night out.It has stayed the same for the last 30 yrs we've been going there.This was our first time back since the change in ownership which was a concern to be honest.Not much has changed.Thats a good thing when you are hoping for the same experience youve enjoyed for many years.The staff (family?) that we have always enjoyed were still working there.My wife and I have always asked for a gentleman that has taken care of us and our family since he was a young boy.We were pleasantly surprised when he walked up with a huge smile and asked what had taken so long for us to come back?Asking if we would like our usual like we had never left.Knowing my favorite.The best Rack of Lamb ive ever had still to this day.Explaining to my wife that they no longer have the Trout gave a recomendation of fresh grouper with a lemon caper sause.We always have Oysters Rockefeller and tried a new appetizer,Shrimp with Havarti Cheese melted on top.Food was Great.My wife did send a cocktail back to the bar that just seemed weak and watered down.They were very friendly about recomending a nice glass of wine.In a town with so many options dinning out.Its was really nice to enjoy that family style feeling still going strong in the heart of our town.
If you've never eaten at L.P. its a must try.Or you just kind of let it fade out with New options?Relive a St Augustine Original.Everything doesnt need a Startover.If your still doing things the right way.TY For Sill Making Memories 40 years strong.

Marvelous! Food was great.
Waitress was extremely pleasant, efficient, witty and helpful. Always attentive to our needs.
We will be going back often.
