I have had breakfast and lunch many times at Portabello Diner, was always very pleased with the food, atmosphere and service. We especially loved the fruit crepes!

Breakfast definitely wasn't worth what we were charged. My husband and I both had the No. 2 breakfast, which consisted of two eggs, toast, bacon and home fries. I ordered my eggs ' over medium' and they were runny. The bacon not only looked raw, it was! The toast and potatoes were the complete opposite -- burned and too hard to eat. My husband said his scrambled eggs were good, but his toast and potatoes were also charred black. Our bill for the two meals and two cups of regular coffee was $18.83, so with tip, we spent over $23 for this horrible breakfast. This has to be one of the most expensive breakfast restaurants in the area and definitely NOT worth the price paid. It's also a small place (seating for 40) that consists of tables and wood chairs (without any padding). We won't be returning here any time soon!
