Scenery/Presentation
Outside
The outside is very boring and peaceful. The place is no means horrible nor ugly to look at. I feel the outside is supposed to be very homelike. I feel they are trying to capture a sense of peace and comfort for anyone who enters their gates. When ever I was there, I always got a feeling of relaxation and simplicity. All the buildings try to present a different theme by standing out. One building, it screams the color "yellow". I do not know what the Village chose "yellow", but okay. The Village could have a "wow factor" on the outside to cause people to gravitate towards them. I feel this "wow factor" is primarily focused on the inside of this new Centre Point project. The Village does care about their outside appearances. I see people constantly cleaning the roads and sidewalks by picking up debris or giving it a good power washing. I will see workers constantly maintaining the high quality the Village wishes to keep for their residents.

Inside
The inside appearances are again, I feel each building is trying to capture a different theme and tone. I believe the Village wants variety when it comes to design and decor. I can feel a little clunky and confusing when you first arrive because the place if very huge on the inside, but at the same time it is very condensed for certain places. My favorite places were Cypress, Jasmine Point, and Rose Court. Cypress and Jasmine Point were just simply beautiful places to walk around in and be amazed. Rose Court had a lot of blue and blue is one of my favorite colors. I felt the Village should have done more when it came to the theme of using the color blue. I felt a bright, peaceful blue sky or a melodic blue of the ocean would have been nice. I did not have time to see if the Village updated the designs/patterns of Rose Court.
Overall, when I came to outside and inside presentation. I would like to give them an A+;however, I am giving them an S+ because the Village puts in a lot of effort to keep a high quality appearance. I do not see how anyone cannot think otherwise.
Opportunities
There are plenty of job opportunities for a person at the Village. The job will allow you to train in different venues all across campus. There are titles such as being a cook, security officer, dishwasher, repair man, manager/supervisor in different departments, CNAs, housekeeping, and many more. The Village will allow employees to transfer from one job title to another, but it is not instantly because there is a process and procedures that need to be followed. The Village will actively try to promote employees and boost them to the next level, only if you want to be. When it comes to job opportunities, I give the Village an S+.
Management
I have mixed feelings about management because I could tell who cares about their job. The managers cared about their job, but not in the right places. Some came to work with a positive attitude and made you feel good while others loved to gossip and drama. Some care about their residents while others seen them as paychecks. Some managers had superficial egos who thought they were untouchable while other had real genuine personality and were humble people. I mainly had mixed feelings when it came from the managers who like drama and gossip. I pretended to be fake like them to get along with, but I should have not entertained them because they are fake, so when it comes to management, avoid the ones who like gossip and drama.
Parking
I would say parking is a B-. It is alright at the moment, but I could be better. The Village has there symbols sprayed on the ground in parking spots to let employees and residents know where everyone should park. The Village also sprayed painted "resident parking" on concrete to further specify where people should park. There were plenty of parking spaces for employees to obtain, you just had to find them. So again, parking was okay, B-.

Memes/Fun
I had fun at my job. You will always be able to have a good laugh there. Everyday was not the best because you will have your bad days whether it be a person, a resident, the weather, or some personal. Regardless from the good, bad, ugly, and amazing, I personally had fun at my job. I do not regret working there. I did not come with a negative mindset unless it involved my health. When it came to the memes and having fun, everyone had there own flair and style of comedy which made having fun at the Village oh so special. I liked to be over the top and aloof with a mixture serious sarcasm which made it difficult for people to dissecting me. When it comes to having a good laugh at the Village, I give them an A-.
Activities
There are many things to do at the Village. The Village have swimming pools, a tennis court, a gym, hair salons, libraries, computer rooms, an art station, bat cave, mini golf, a garden, nature trails, ponds/lakes where you could fish(the Village provides you will fishing poles and bait), concerts, team building, fishing, food contests, free prize giveaways, and so much more. There is a lot of things to do at the Village with your teammates and with the residents. This place thrives to be very family friendly oriented and they do it well. I saw how the Village wanted to create an environment of peace, friendliness, and family because the Village was adamant about it, every single day. The Village would personally planned out birthday parties and special events for their residents and allowed residents to create their get-togethers. The Village even allowed employees to have parties or plan events for their family members or friends. The Village mainly cook for the employee's family members and help organize the event if help was required. Two of there slogans is were "We are a team here at the Village" and "We are a family". I personally was more focused on the job aspects because I had a lone wolf mentality. Overall, I give them an S+ in this category.
Residents
Majority of the residents at the Village were wonderful people to be around. I enjoyed their company and did everything to make them feel at home. There were a couple of cranky ones, but majority of the residents at the Village were nice and laid-back individuals. I give the Village an S+ when it comes to their residents. I feel the residents are so nice and wonderful because of how the Village treats them. The Village thrives to be a family, friendly organization and they do it well.
Money
I give them an S+ in this category. I personally am not a big fan of money. My job would constantly try to give me more hours, promotions, and raises. I would always turn them down because I was not a big fan money. I only cared about making enough to get by in life. My job saw I was an incredible working so they would constantly try to give me money, but I kept refusing because I did not have a problem with my pay and money is not that important to me. You will make more than enough if you decide to work at the Village. If there are complains about money, it is most likely people being greedy and selfish.
Food
I cannot give this category an accurate score because the cooks had to be very careful when making food for the residents. Elderly people do not have powerful immune systems and many have a wide variety of health problems. The cooks had to be careful not to overpower when it came to seasoning food, and they also had be careful now to under power it because food will be bland. Overall, the cooks did a wonderful job when it came to the quality of food. I would constantly ask the residents how they felt about the food and majority of the time, I got positive feedback. I will grade some of the foods I ate the most.
Hamburgers B+, Hotdogs B, Shrimp Scampi A+, any Chicken Soup A+, Broccoli Cheddar soup A+, Catfish A+, Pork Tenderloin A, Mac N Cheese B, Baked Chicken A+, Fried Chicken A-, Tiramisu A+, Ice cream variety S+, and Chicken Alfredo S+. Overall, you will enjoy good quality food there at the Village.
Ducks
I give this category an S+. I loved my job, I loved my residents, I loved the environment at the Village; however, the ducks were the best thing about working there. They were so cute and adorable. I fed them all the time. I was even able to pet one. The grade would be higher, but they did not have enough ducks, so an S+ will do.

The End
Now, things are currently changing at the Village when it comes to presentation and policies. There is a big project called Centre Point and it looks amazing. The Village itself already looked wonderful in my opinion and the Center Point project will only increase the level quality of the Village. I wish I could have stayed to see Centre Point, but I had to leave early because I got into a car crash and suffering from head trauma/damage. My head injury was getting so bad, I had resign from my position to focus on my mental health. I do highly recommend this place to other people because it is a great place work at and for senior citizens to live at as well.
