We ventured out for breakfast and wow, what a treat! My eggs over medium arrived just as I hoped, and the cozy diner atmosphere made it even better. The service was quick and friendly, leaving us eager to return for more delicious meals, especially their liver and onions special!

I always get the Open face turkey sandwich, but it is always very salty, and there's much more bread than meat, so I leave a lot of bread on the plate.
For my vegetable, my wife and I ordered a baked potato, for my second vegetable I ordered vegetable beef soup. I saw no special prices for any of the vegetables on the menu. When I got my bill, however, I had two up charges of $1 and one up charge of $1.50. when I inquired to the waitress, she said "it's in the menu we charge an extra dollar for a baked potato and we charge an extra $1.50 for soup." I just looked at their menu online and didn't see anything about special up charges. I'm going to ask them to point out where on Earth the description of up charges for the vegetables is printed. It's ridiculous to charge an extra $3.50 for baked potato and soup. There's nothing particularly special about those veggies.
As a courtesy, the waitress should point out that there is an upcharge for things while in the ordering process rather than just surprising you with the additional charges.

I had a VERY delicious corned beef sandwich, potato salad, and a slice of cream pie. I will definitely go back to Wolfie's.

First time in there, three people came in after us, got their food and left. The waitress said our food was up next and an hour later still no food. Doesn't take that long to make eggs, bacon and 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. The table behind us came in and got their food and left. We will never go back. Worst service ever. Doesn't even deserve one star.

Make there own rules. It's their way or the highway. Manager will not give out address information to express concerns or comments. Need new fresh wait staff!!!

We have been coming to wolfies 20 years and most of the waitresses have been working here also that long. The food is good the food is fast and they have reasonable prices. They have a great special every day of the week, I particularly love the meatloaf, but everything is great from the chicken to the spaghetti to the breakfast items. If anyone complains they are just having a bad day themselves. And it can get crowded lunch time so just understand that and come either 11:00 or 2:00 p.m. if you don't like crowds

Called to place an order so that it could be ready for pickup by the time I got there, I was told that I had to come in and place my order because they were busy. I went in to the restaurant to place my order and found that it was not that busy at all, so I asked the manager, who was on register if they had stop taking phone orders, she again claimed it was busy prior to me getting there, which was approximately 10 minutes after I had called. Anyway, I placed my order ,d then she asked me to wait outside. I thought that was strange, but I waited outside for about 15 minutes. As I was waiting outside I watched a lady go inside and place a to-go order as I did, she sat down at a table inside and waited for her order. Long story short, my order came up and the manager gave my order to her, this lady rushed out to her car with my food and proceeded to leave. I went inside and asked why why did she get her order so fast and I had been waiting before she came in. The manager discovered she had given the lady my order and then ran out the door and stopped the lady in the parking lot. She grabbed the food from the lady and attempted to give it to me. I told her that I wasn't accepting that food that had been in someone's car and the lady had been in it. The manager got an attitude and made a big deal about me not taking the food. I requested a refund. I couldn't believe the customer service she displayed, nor could I believe she was trying to force me to take that food with the Covid-19 pandemic. They have lost my business. I can't imagine what they are doing behind that kitchen wall.

I normally go to Wolfy's once a week. I have always been very satisfied with my meal. Once in a while, the service is a little to be desired, but I try to overlook that. However, last week I went in and thought I would try the pot roast special. Instead of the vegetables offered, I asked for a couple of slices of cucumbers (which I had done before without any problem). The waitress told me that in no way was that going to happen. That was against their policy, that they weren't allowed to do that. I told her I had done it before, and she said that whoever the waitress was would get in trouble for doing that. I then asked for double mashed potatoes instead of the cucumbers, and she made a face that was telling me that that was not going to happen either. I called as spoke with a manager today about this incident, and was told that it is against the rules to give out cucumbers. If there is a new rule that they need to be made aware of it. I truly cannot believe that a few cucumbers would ever be such an issue for a restaurant, but obviously it is to Wolfy's. It was obvious she was upholding the law regarding the cucumbers. She did say that the double mashed should have been given without any problem. I then advised that I would write a letter to the owner and asked for his address. She advised me that she did not know the owner's address at all. I asked if the Ocala, FL, restaurant would know how to address a letter to him, and she said maybe. She then suggested that I call again tomorrow during the day to speak with the General Manager about the situation. I asked for the address of the restaurant in Leesburg, and she couldn't remember it immediately, but eventually supplied me with that info. I never thought 4 or 5 slices of cucumbers would be worth writing about, but guess what, it is.

My husband and I eat here regularly. The service is always great and the food is good and affordable. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but it's tasty. The derby pie is delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Use to eat at wolfys years ago before the fire. First time back today 11/10/16 for lunch. As we (myself and two sisters) walked in, on the specials for the day, they had Pot Roast, Chicken pot pie and a couple other things. I ordered the pot roast with mashed potatoes and green beans, one of my sister's ordered the pot pie with mashed potatoes, the other sister got the 3 vegetables (blacked eyed peas, fried okra, collard greens) and corn bread meal. I can honestly say my pot roast was one of the worst meals I've ever eaten. I'm a very good southern cook. Everything on my and sisters plate came from a can including the pot roast. The pot pie was adequate but not a lot of flavor. There's absolutely no seasoning to any of the food at all. I know the difference between fresh and canned, and it was definitely canned food just heated and served. Never been so disappointed. The food there back in the day was great. Don't know what happened. If you can't have salt or any seasoning in your food due to health conditions, this is the place for you.

We were very disappointed with our lunch there yesterday. My husband ordered the Tuesday special, meatloaf. The meatloaf portion was small, the potatoes were lukewarm and tasted like something from a dry mix, and the gravy was a dark brown that we thought came from a can. Ditto for the peas. Yuck! My Reuben sandwich was loaded with a far-from-top-quaiity corned beef. The only good thing about this meal: the french fries were delicious. We will definitely not go there again, nor would we recommend it. We also waited 25 minutes for our food.

The last few times we have been at Wolfy's, the radio playing in the background was very loud. I asked both times if it could be lowered and I was told it couldn't. I am giving the diner one more try and if it the radio is still loud, then I am not going back. If it was soft music, it might be tolerable, but it usually a country/western and it is very annoying.
