I revisited Eddie Merlots in Ft. Wayne after more than a decade, recalling my previous visit where I indulged in simple fare like burgers and fries. This time, I explored their more refined menu to see if the restaurant truly lived up to its reputation as one of the fancier spots in town. The interior exuded a classy vibe, reminiscent of The Cheesecake Factory, and despite a slightly slow service due to a busy bar area, our server was accommodating and friendly, making adjustments to our meals upon request. The food impressed me and my family, with standout items like the delicious sourdough bread and the flavorful lemon dijon chicken, although we found the sides to be overly rich and heavy on the calories.
