Found a great Mexican takeout spot off Stellhorn with delicious and affordable tacos. The family-operated stand offers tasty dishes like beef tostadas and burritos, with quick service and friendly owners.

Unlike most Mexican restaurants, the two nice people of MONTERICO make their salsa from scratch, and MAN is it GOOD! The regular mild salsa is fresh, light and so delicious you could eat it like Gazpacho!
If you want more heat, try their custom blended HOT salsa! It has PLENTY of fire, but isn't just mindless heat. It actually has FLAVOR. And again, that's because they make thier own in small batches every day.
We love their little tacos, either soft or hard shell. Buy them TEN at a time for a great bargain.
Honestly, everything we've had their has been very good, but the TACOS and their SALSA sets them apart.
Combine that with friendly service and fair prices, you have a winner for dinner.
