Joy Luck had always been one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants until recently...I brought too their attention they'd left off the black mushrooms in their special chow mein...I told them to just put it on the side and call it a day. They said they would like to see the plate to make sure it was as I stated...I said well please go ahead and redo the whole order b/c I didn't want a plate that had been looked through and basically played in. So they agreed to make it over but when I finally got the order it was cold which told me it wasn't freshly made. So I just had my money returned told them thank you and left. This is a restaurant I've always recommended to guest from out of town and any family member or friend. Because they were always consistent. Even when they opened East West I knew their food anywhere under any name....I was just disappointed.
