Unforgettable!

Expecting an outstanding gourmet meal, based on Georgia Trend's review last year, my husband and I booked a restaurant reservation to celebrate Valentine's day. We were not impressed. The server was not adequately trained, thus setting the tone. As each course progressed, we were disappointed to find that none of them reached a point that we could say 'outstanding'. My husband commented that this is Hotel Banquet food, not gourmet quality for a 'resort'. His entree was a Halibut dish, mine Trout. Neither was seasoned to any degree, nor was there a tasty accompanying sauce, which accentuated the blandness of the fishes. The French Onion soup was too sweet, and the Artichoke Spread was bland. Artichoke Spreads need to be at least seasoned with some of the Allium family! We had to ask repeatedly for the accents (lemons, etc). Dessert was only mediocre, and the coffee was not hot. Does not bear a repeat.
