I visited the Cornerstone Grill recently and was surprised that a restaurant of this caliber was located in Dalton Georgia. The atmosphere was charming as well as inviting, which was complimented by a warm smile from the hostess, Ms. Pat. The cuisine and presentation was comparable to any establishment in the Atlanta area. Obviously the manager, David Smith defines this message not only by his palatable entrees, but the staff he has employed Please continue on this path and keep a casual, yet sophisticated dining experience for the Dalton area to enjoy.

My husband an I have been to the restaurant and lodge it is awesome! The fried oysters are my favorite. The new face lift took the restaurant to a new level. David is a great person with a big heart. We have known him for life. He does for others when he does not take time for himself. Go David continue the good work!

Tattle tale,
Get your facts straight before making post. David Smith spent 5 years in prison for his mistakes. Since then he has spent the next 15 plus years being an asset to society. Everyone deserves second chances and David has made the most out of his second chance. At least put your real name if you are going to cast stones at people.
David has done a great job at the restaurant and the food is great.

In the past 9 months that i have worked at Cornerstone there was never a time until David Robert Smith came in that anyone respected and enjoyed the company of any manager. Everyone makes mistakes and whoever wants to bring him down im sure has made plenty of mistakes. He has paid for the past so its time to leave it alone. The restaurant ahs come a long way from where it use to be. And i dont believe it could of happen any other way without David. He is well respected and i believe everyone else should treat him the same. and i honestly wouldnt be happy if David Smith was not there.

The chef there "Robert David Smith" from La Fayette, GA ) learned to cook in Prison. He spent 15 years in prison for cocaine trafficking. A low life turd who helped children loose their homes when their parents became addicted, or become hooked themselves.

Delicious food, but be prepared to wait for it. You should also take a sweater or wrap, because every time I have been there, the dining room has been ice cold.

Wonderful wood-grilled cuisine in a romantic setting. The entrees are a little higher than your typical chain fern bar like Applebee's or Chili's, but it is higher-end cuisine and the environment is much nicer.
Entrees are a la carte.
The salads have a crumbly cheese, walnuts and cranberries; great with the vinaigrette.
Try the grilled red cabbage as a side.
