We plan our trips to Statesboro to visit our family to always include a stop at Peggy’s. The best food at a reasonable price anywhere. For food like Mom or Grandma cooked, this is the closest you will find. The fried chicken is wonderful.

My family stopped at Peggy's yesterday and upon parking we thought my Father was having a stroke. I have never witnessed a faster response time in first responders than Wrens, Georgia, as well as all of the employees at Peggy's were so accommodating and helpful. It was not a stroke, but low blood sugar and when we went in to eat at Peggy's they did not make my Dad wait for food and everyone kept coming by to check on him. We are beyond blessed and I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and charming town.❤️

Great, Good, Wonderful, Amazing, I drive from Augusta, 40 miles each way, 2 or 3 or 4 times a month to eat at Peggy's, It is very good. Great food, good prices, nice staff, clean place. Home cooking at it's best. I took a guest there, and he said, it was the best meal, he had had since his grandmother died (in 1994).
PS. I'm leaving now for lunch there. Try it, you will love it.
