The Kudzu is a wonderful "hole-in-the-wall" place that locals love and newcomers will really appreciate.
As a former cook / bartender, I can agree that there is nothing over-the-top or excessive about the menu. If you simply looking for a good steak or burger and some drinks, then the Kudzu is definitely the place.
My personal recommendations are the King-size surf and turf (steak and shrimp), the Kudzu Steak Sandwich with beer-battered fries, or the grilled chicken / grilled steak salad. Still can't decide? Get the sampler platter.

The Kudzu is a great place to have drinks and a great meal with friends. The owners Stanley and Gina make the Kudzu grow on you.
