Our go to spot for every trip to S.S.I. We even celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary there. Every thing is perfect every time and our family known as the St. Simon seven all agree it's the best of the best on the island.

The "New" Ga. Sea Grill, while having a wonderful dining atmosphere , fell short in every other aspect for our party of five.
For starters, the gin & tonics lacked carbonation, and were completely flat; the oysters were schucked leaving bits of broken shell in all but 2 or 3 of the dozen. We asked for chili sauce, and told they were only being served with mango.
We asked for additional rolls, the next basket had "2" rolls, no butter.
Reviewing the menu, I asked if the flounder could be prepared "meuniere"
The waitress didn't check, but simply said it was only being prepared as described on the menu.
Most of us ordered a Filet, which was overcooked, for three of my guests.
Dessert also fell short.. Irish coffees did not have whipped cream, but a1/2 inch layer of cream.
Overall, we've decided that we will probably not return but will enjoy the so many other options on the Island in the future.
The concensus of our group was that the reputation and dining experience at the old Ga. Sea Grill was far superior dining to what we experienced.
