Pats Eatery holds a special place in our hearts as our go-to local restaurant. We find ourselves there almost every week. Being a family-owned establishment, it exudes a welcoming charm. The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend it!

Can’t rate, it was too horrible! Don’t waste your time or money. We couldn’t eat sandwiches or salads that we ordered. Management didn’t care!

Amazing food. We love to go on Friday’s for their prime rib.

Very poor selection of food. Nasty restaurant with roaches. Food taste is subpar. Avoid this place even if you’re starving and it’s the only one on the planet.

Pats Eatery is our favorite local restaurant, we typically go there at least weekly. Family owned, great food, great service. Would recommend!

The only reason that I'm writing this review is that i contacted this establishment prior to this review and received no reply so here i am.
Have eaten at Pats many times, and had nothing, but good food and service until 2 weekends ago went in for breakfast and arrived a bit to let for breakfast so decided to have lunch while waiting on our orders noticed another group arrived, and ordered breakfast didn't seem to be to much of an issue for them to receive breakfast.
Received our orders and the food was unmistakably not prepared properly i had philly cheese steak the meat was barely warm and my carmelized veggies were served on the sandwich cold and raw my partners meal was not much better would have gotten a better meal at McDonald's in my opinion the only high light during lunch was the Boston cream pie and our waitress bottom line i was highly disappointed.....

My friend and I (both seniors) have eaten many times at Pats Eatery. Tonight we went and were treated horribly!! I ordered Shrimp & grits but the waitress served me chicken. I asked for the shrimp & grits that I had ordered. Evidently the young waitress said I did order the chicken (a lie). I tasted the shrimp & grits and didn’t care for it because it was covered in a sauce that was not good. The manager came over and said that he had already prepared two meals for me that were rejected. I said, no, I had never ordered the chicken. He was quite rude! I said, forget it I’ll just pay for the entree and go. He said that would be appropriate! He took my credit card and asked us to leave! We had not uttered a critical word...I was just not happy. I have NEVER been treated so badly anywhere!! Please avoid this place like the plague...he hates his customers!

Small, intimate and friendly
Both owners came out to say hello, chat, and thank us for coming.
Interesting dishes we have not seen elsewhere with amazing side dishes
Best plantains we have EVER had!!!
Don't even think of finishing your plate - large servings and very reasonable prices!
Try to save room for dessert as they have things that will amaze you - Volcano is a must sometime!
We could go on and on. No downside. No complaints. Such a wonderful dining experience!
We don't live in the area, but intend to go as often as our schedule allows while we are!!!
Trying ordering out tonight as work has thrown a curve our way. Interested to see how takeout goes.
I am expecting excellence in this area as well. They definitely have it together!!!

My husband and I went there after a long day. We read the reviews and figured it was definitely worth trying. That was a mistake. It took a while for us to get seated (or for anyone to even greet us). We got an appetizer, the spinach and artichoke dip. The dip was good but the burned chips it was served with weren't. At this point, all was still well. Then came our food. I ordered fish and chips with an side of cheese grits because I'm usually a big fan. The grits were cold and tasted like they sat there all day long under a warming station and when someone ordered they just put shredded cheese on them. Flavorless and over cooked. The fish tasted like it had been previously frozen. It was also unnecessarily extra greasy. It was ok, but that's all it was. The fries were fries. Nothing special but no complaints. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. It came as an open faced sandwich, which was not what he was expecting. He wanted a sandwich, so had to work at taking half of everything off to have it. The chicken was also a little rubbery. He was disappointed because of its poor presentation and lack of any flavor. Our waitress brought the check without a word from either of us. So we paid and left our almost full plates of food on the table. I'm not one to waste, but this food wasn't good.

****Update - I typed and waited to post. I didn't want to be unfair. I've been up in the bathroom all night with my tummy hurting.
