Great seafood. The food is fresh and delicious and the wait staff are very attentive. They have new owners and it is awesome. I saw some just do so reviews but they was before new owners. You will not be disappointed here.

Have been dinning here for a while always received excellent service and great food. However after Friday night I will not be dinning here simply because NO SERVICE. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes after order was placed before food ever showed up. Nobody cared. I know the pandemic has caused staffing issues, but if you have no one to cook why bother. Don't make your loyal customers suffer. NO MORE Fishtales for me.

Best gem in Griffin, Spalding County GA area and surrounding counties for quality made to order seafood. Visited for the first time back in April, 2021 with family. Wait staff was very personable and friendly. Drinks and hushpuppies were given within a few minutes of our seating. Place was packed for lunch but it did not hinder the quick service of ordering and receiving our food. Lunch tacos were off the chain good with blackened white fish! Since then, I have tried the dinner menu options and have not been disappointed. They do have new ownership / management, with the same great staff and quality food! The restaurant has had a face lift on the exterior that makes it eye catching and pops! The interior is well lit and looks amazing! Keep on rocking Fishtales!!!!

I have tried to call and place a to go order twice since the recent re-opening. Both times the phone was busy and I had to go to the restaurant and place the to go order. The 2nd time I spoke to the owner and he said he is taking care of the people who are in the restaurant instead of taking to go orders on Friday and Saturday night. He said the phone was turned off. He said I could call earlier in the day or later on they might be answering the phone on Friday and Saturday nights when the rush wore off. These options do not work for me as a restaurant is not going to dictate the time I eat. In my opinion, it is a poor business practice to "turn off the phone". The menu has the phone number and all of the waitresses had t-shirts with the phone number prominently displayed.

We have eaten there several times. The food is really good and the service is as well. This is our new favorite restaurant!

Had lunch today with 8 other people; Pam was our server. The food was fresh and delicious (I had the shrimp basket with cole slaw, cheese grits, and amazing hush puppies), the service was excellent, especially considering our table had 9 people. This was my first visit at Fishtales, and I definitely will return with my family. I have one suggestion, and that is to ask the owner/manager to provide a round table that will seat 9 or 10.

Very good fried oysters. Lived on the gulf coast for 20 years and always people knew how to fry them. Up here, it is rare to find a place that does not over fry. Fish tales did it right. Good service, too.

Sat evening, If you don't eat fried don't eat here. Grilled fish much too pricy for portion. Salad very fresh, lettuce tom and that is it, no carrots, cumcom, onion, cheese, and so on. The worst maybe wasboiled potatoes. Halve of order not done, uneatable, hard. Hushpuppies were great, just can't eat Greece ,,,,no other bread available??? Must say the RedLobster beats this buy a mile with 2 sides, salad, large portion of fish, and all those biscuits. Fishtales was a cute place , they need to regroup on portions and price so won't be there again, tooo bad about Griffin, Ga not having any decent place to eat, cause we eat out every day.

Worst seafood I have ever had. The shrimp was bland, hush puppies were sweet. I've never had more horrible meal my wife and I were bothere sick. The price was way out of line for what we got. Will not go back don't waste your time!

Very good for not being on the coast. Catfish and shrimp combo was delicious. Really liked the cheese grits and slaw. We will be back
