I love this bar. It's a little bit of a dive and the food is so good. Everyone loves the wings. Do yourself a favor and get their Shark Sauce. Yum.

This is a 21+ establishment and since we have a 2 year old we had to order out from this establishment. Not from this area but heard this was "THE PLACE" you had to eat before leaving. Called to ask a question about something on the menu. The woman that answered made it quite clear that they were very busy and that it was a minimum hour wait for to go orders. Called back to place our order and there was no answer. Called back about 20 minutes later to try to place our order and the phone was picked up, could hear sound but nobody would answer. Hung up and tried back several times but line was busy. Not impressed. Another restaurant got our business instead.

I ate the Cajun Pasta with Shrimp (#8 Spicy) on a paper plate in a bar! It was Amazing. My most favorite meal the whole 2 weeks I was in Grand Forks!

not only do they have the best wings in town lets not forget about the Cajun shrimp pasta

Best hot wings I've ever had. I've tried the 8s, 11s, 15s, and the Sharks and been totally satisfied every time. A lot of times you seem to lose flavor when you add spice, but not at the Parrot's Cay. The 15s are really flavorful and really damn hot!

The only bad thing about the Cay can be seating. But I've always been willing to wait for a table because I know it will be worth it. I definitely recommend it.

Strongly disagree with the review noted before this one. The current owner has made this place far better and you can tell by how packed the Cay is everynight. Excellent food and service!

I liked this joint 1000 times better when Mark was the man behind the curtain.

A cosy little joint on the South end of Grand Forks. The Cay is one of the diamond in the rough spots to be found by the newly turned 21 year old or by the seasoned veteren who tends to stay down town.

The Cay features some excellent foods including Crawfish and the best damn buffalo wings in Grand Forks. (I prefer the Shark myself) The prices are never too over the top, and if you go there for the special they are great deals. (Including dollar burgers on Mondays and Pitcher and a plate of wings for 10 dollars on Wedsnday.) The Cay also features one of the most robust beer selections in Grand Forks second to only maybe the Blue Moose. No matter what you like its probably there. Beer is also usually the only beverage served, they have no hard alcohol, and if need be you can by single cans of soda.

Even on the busiest nights the service is usually top notch with fun waitresses and bartenders. Because of the size of the place, at times when it is packed to the brim it may take some time to get your food.

The atmosphere has a very dive unpolished look to it. With most of the decorations being pictures of people who have completed there 15 Wing Challenge or the ceiling tiles being covered in Sharpie by regulars before hand. At first glance the place may put off those who are more inclined towards the flashier lights of say Level 10 or Joe Blacks, but usually by the end of your meal you feel right at home.

Overall the Cay is by far my favorite bar / restraunt in town. The food is delicious the beer selection is top notch and the prices cant be beat. If your ever looking for something to do on a wedsnday, the Cay and there Pitcher and Wings for 10 Dollars deal is always a good choice.

Notice: You must be 21 to enter the Cay. No ifs, ands or buts.
