During a recent stay at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, my husband and I visited the Lumber Baron Bar and were impressed by its cozy, intimate ambiance featuring walnut paneling, leather chairs, and candlelit tables that evoke a sophisticated, vintage library feel. The bartenders crafted expertly balanced cocktails, including a memorable table-side smoked bourbon, and the attentive, knowledgeable staff enhanced the experience despite slightly higher prices; the option to order food from the adjacent Ruth's Chris kitchen adds to its appeal for a relaxed, elegant evening.
