Visited this place on Fathers Day 2016. The entrance was dim and dingy. After prepaying for the meal, there was no instruction on how to navigate to the eating area. However, there was a sign that warned customers that there would be no refunds! Suspicious, red flag moment. What reputable restaurant would not offer a refund if you are not satisfied ?? After getting instructions on where to go, we entered the dining area. Looks like something out of the 50's. Not classy at all. Needs a total renovation. They ran out of food items more than once and it took a long time to replace items. They ran out of plates, bowls and ice too. We had to ask for silver wear and requested drinks numerous times before we were served. The wait staff was tripping all over one another. There was absolutely no organization in this place what so ever. The food was nothing to Bragg about and the corn bread was horrible! Behind the bar area a young lady was rinsing out glasses previously used by others and they were put back on the table for other people to use. I am sure that is a sanitation violation!! This place advertises itself as an establishment offering a fine dining experience, for those who have not had a fine dinning experience this might be ok; however for me it was a dining disaster!!! If you are looking for a fine dining experience, don't waste your time here.

Best part about Alexander Devereux is the Exit door.

Suggestions: Ichiban Buffet up the street. Good food, good service, clean establishment and clean plates. Cost less.

This place was one of the worst soul food experiences ever. First u call to make a reservation and u have a 2 hr window to eat. Upon arrival when you come in the door you have to pay 14.99 then you go to the buffet area upstairs. When we get there we were seated and was told we could go to the buffet where a staff member serves you. What we see is a almost empty pan of Mac and cheese limited food available at that time. Server assured us more food was coming right up. We'll it didn't. It took about 30-45 mins. Staff very unorganized manager was not concerned about the buffet. Baked chicken was under cooked. Greens and green beans where from a can. Only had water and tea to drink. And no artificial sweetner available
Banana pudding was just banana pudding and vanilla wafers, Salisbury steak salty. Sweet potatoes were good, fish good, chicken was alright nothing spectacular. Servers dropping and breaking dishes. Fine dining no and no class or elegance. Don't waste your money there. This place needs to be reevaluated.

Highly diappointed
