I Love steak. I really love steak. My girlfriend really loves seafood. I mean really loves seafood. I don't know why it is but usually the good seafood places can't cook a steak and vice versa. Not this restaurant. They can do both like they specialize in it.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. We found our new favorite place to eat. Worth the drive. We come all the way from Laurel,Ms to eat there. The food is impeccable. Fine dining quality at a casual and friendly atmosphere. Love the view of the river. The staff is so friendly always smiling. I had the jumbo king crab and hot crab dip. My husband had the filet with a crabcake. We can't wait to go back. It is one of a kind. I would say the best on the gulf coast. Thank you Jourdan River Steamer!

The worst charbroiled oysters I have ever been served. Completely over priced. The Jourdan River Steamer is trying to be upscale food, but misses the mark by a mile. The most money I have ever paid for really bad food. The only thing upscale here was the prices.
